- “Cancer makes you think about all of these things that you don’t think about every day. My cancer team suggested that I bank my sperm in case I want to have kids someday. I just have to go to the fertility clinic and provide a sperm sample. They freeze it and store it for me to use at a later date.” Describe banking as an insurance policy that will allow you to make choices in the future. If you’re comfortable bringing up your partner’s role in that future, go ahead.
